DESIGNING WITH CINDY

Cindy Craig, the Studio store manager, is not only a talented knitter; she is also quite the designer. Many of you have seen her creativity demonstrated in the Kids’ Knitting book published last year. Now Cindy is inviting Studio customers to participate in the design processas she gets ready to launch her own line of knitting patterns. These series of classes are for experienced, adventuresome knitters who are willing to experiment with patterns that are “not quite ready for prime time.” Participants will have the opportunity to assist Cindy in refining the pattern through feedback of your experience in creating a project. Along the way, you will get a peek behind the scene on how a knitting design is created. The summer Designing with Cindy class will be able to chose from two children’s garments, a baby ensemble and an adult jacket.

SOCK STARS

Knit-Along

Join fellow Studio sock knitters & Jennifer Nugent to find the support you need to finish that second sock, learn new techniques and be inspired. Sock Star Knit-Along sessions are FREE to SOCK STAR Club members. Non-members are welcome.

COLOR WORK

Knit-Along

Ready to set forth in a sea of color work knitting? The Studio’s talented color knitter, Karen Neal, will be hosting a Color Work Knit-a-long. Students will choose their own project and through the series of knit-a-long sessions, learn the techniques for completing a beautiful Fair Isle, stranded knitting or instarsia project. Five Sessions.

This winter, Staci Parelman launched this KAL and quite a few Studio customers have been cabling like crazy...or being driven crazy by cables!!  The Aran Afghan KAL contiues this summer, with three more squares to conquer.
